Description | The genome of T. pallidum subspecies pallidum strain SS14 was sequenced twice using Comparative Genomic Sequencing (CGS) strategy. In the first mapping stage, fluorescently labeled genomic Two independent CGS experiments with different DNA isolates of SS14 strain (4950 and 4951) were performed. 319 and 317 SNPs were identified with 4951 and 4950 DNA isolations, respectively. Both sequencing experiments differed in 14 SNPs, (1 difference per 81 kb of the genome sequence). |
