Description By means of DEMS technique has been studied the process of electrochemically mediated adsorptive oxidation of saturated solutions of benzene, chlorobenzene, fluorobenzene, toluene and o-dichlorobenzene on polycrystalline platinum electrode. All compounds undergoe to anodic oxidation yielding carbon oxide, detected by MS ion current of m/z 44. The results are presented as CV and MS/CV curves. Platinum Pt(111) and Pt(110) have been used as working electrodes in case studies of electro-sorption of chlorobenzene, fluorobenzene and bromobenzene from acid water solutions of different concentrations.
