Description Models of the Central Paratethys region paleogeography during the Karpatian and Badenian are based in two important parts: models of sedimentary basins in the subduction zone and accretionary wedge of the Alpine-Carpathian chain and models of the overrriding plates movement and extent of the stretching during arc basin formation processes.
