| Description | Text is a reflection of several-month experience in LArche community Cork, Ireland. People with mental handicap live together with volunteers from different countries here. Their coexistence can be the source of true enrichment on certain conditions. Community based on relationship of trust is a place, where (not only) people with mental handicap can discover and develop their unique capacities and so doing find their place and use in life. Volunteers can cultivate their ability of entering relationships here. They can also acquire certain tolerance in daily life with people who often have radically different cultural background. |
