| Description | This paper introduces an example of structural analysis of newspaper message within the semitic paradigm of media studies. For the analysis the image of Roma was choosen. The autor demonstrates which signs the photograph works with, what their denotative and connotative menings are and which myths it accentuates. the Gypsy myth and the myth of police are analysed as examples of the story about Us and Them. |
