Description Our study has shown that there are connections between adolescents' moral beliefs and the level of their risk behaviour. We found differences between the younger (14-16 years) and the older (17-20) students in our sample. Perceiving responsibility in younger cohort seems to be a protective factor for "pub/club" life-style (drinking alcohol, problem behaviour in school, problematic relationship with parents etc.). On the other hand, self worth seems to be important in thrill seeking like adrenaline sports etc. Students from the younger cohort for whom free self-expression and sincerity are important are less altruistic. Perceived loyalty to the parents is quite a strong protective factor for risk behaviour in the older cohort.
