Description Psychological assessment is typically viewed as something one does to plan for or evaluate an intervention. But psychological testing itself is a powerful therapeutic intervention. There is some structured method, called Therapeutic Assessment, which can be used with any test and any age or type of client (individual, couple, family). Controlled research has shown that clients benefit from this type of assessment (Finn, S. E, 2002). As well the Rorschach Test has a therapeutic potential. We used the ROR Test in a research battery, together with the Scenotest and some drawing projective methods (e.g. the Tree Test, Three Trees Test, and Draw a Person Test). We were looking for relations between the special phenomena explored by ROR Test and the individual symbolic theme important to a subject within therapeutic intervention (explored imprimis by The Scenotest). Our research is still in progress; thus, the poster presents some relationships we have found as general and interesting in current casuistic data. Furthermore, it marks some plausible relationships drawn on our experiences with the Technique of Universe (mimetic projective techniques).
