Description Flight activity of R. hipposideros was studied during two winter and one summer seasons at the cave entrance using ultrasonic bat-detector and tape recorder. The number of echolocation calls related to one hour of recording was used as a measure of flight activity. Seasonal changes in the intensity of flight activity were analyzed and the influence of air temperature on the level of activity was evaluated.
