Description Current usage of fish parasite like an biological indicators of environmetal stress have been analysed. In relation to environmental pollution following three different levels of parasite investigation can be distinguished: (1) level of individual parasite specimen; (2) parasite population level and finally (3) parasite community level. Both individual (e.g. accumulation of contaminats and malformations of parasite organs)and community level was recognized to be most effective in usage of parasite like potential bioindicators.
