| Description | The species of Ptecticus occurring in Sri Lanka are revised. From three species treated, Ptecticus pseudohistrio is described as a new, P. srilankai is replacement name for the preoccupied P. ceylonicus and P. cingulatus is known as widespread in the Oriental Region. |
