Description The application of a silver electrode for the determination of DNA by cyclic voltammetry has recently been reported. It was shown that the elimination voltammetry with linear scan (EVLS) substantially improves cyclic voltammetric results and therefore it has been applied in research of nucleic acids on the charged interface. The best results were obtained and new effects were discovered by eliminating the kinetic and charging currents and conserving the diffusion current.
