Description Changes of methamphetamine intake followed the pretreatment with serotonergics and cannabinoids were studied in the model "i.v. drug self-administration" in rats. The exogenous facilitation of neurotransmitter functions of serotonin (e.g. by fluoxetine) in the brain supressed the intake of drug. The incresed intake of methamphetamine was observed after the pretreatment with the cannabinoid agonists, on the contrary the cannabinoid antagonist caused the opposite effect.
