| Description | This article focuses primarily on the beginning of composer Jan Novák‘s collaboration with film and film music. This cooperation began in the fifties of the twentieth century. The very beginnings are rooted in the cooperation with Krátky Film Praha, where the films involved were documentaries, educational films and animated films. In the beginning, short films were created, which were followed later by popularizing or scientific ones. In 1950‘s, Jan Novák also produced works for a puppet film, a film magazines, and he also wrote compositions for a radio orchestra. |
