Description Staphylococcus aureus is a severe pathogen of respiratory tract infections. It causes also a lot of types of pyogenic infections. Staphylococcal resistance to common antibiotics is increasing. Because of this phage local therapy of pyogenic infections is promising. Phages destroy only specific bacterial species so they have no effect on human cells and they minimally affect microbiom of the pacient. Therapeutical result is affected by mechanism of staphylococcal resistance to phages, that resulted from their long coevolution and long term therapy. In our study we focuses on the origin of mechnisms of staphyloccocal resistance.
