| Description | Excavation of the Rokštejn Castle has commenced during the 18th century and was innitioated by the owners themselves. Next phase was during the middle of the 20th century, and then during the 80's with Zdeněk Měřínský. Ecxavation is still continuing as a systematical research excavation; this allows for detailed research of one castle site. |
