Description This article briefly describes the life of one of the most important men of ancient Rome - Scipio Aemilianus. This adoptive son of Scipio Africana won the Third Punic War, in which he defeats the arch enemy of the Romans, the city of Carthage. The same happened to the Celtiberian fortress of Numantia in Spain. In addition to his military achievements, Scipio was also an important and traditional politician, but also an educated and learned man.
