Citation
Description The book focuses on the most important topics of contemporary IT law. With the exception of the first chapter devoted to the concept and method of information technology law, it does not focus too much on general questions, but instead addresses specific issues. This corresponds to the current state of development of this still relatively new legal discipline. Since the beginning, the original science of information technology law has been devoted mainly to the basic axioms of the field, but nowadays the at the first sight independent specialized problems are priority. The book thus focuses in addition to methods of information technology law on jurisdiction and applicable law online, liability of information society services providers, rights to data and software, electronic documents, domain names, public sector information, protection of privacy and personal data, the regulation of electronic communications, online dispute resolution and also on cybersecurity and cybercrime. Each chapter is divided into general description of the concept, analysis of a regulatory problem, description of its development, systematic explanation of legal regulation, particular interpretation of individual sub-questions and a summary of conclusions from individual subchapters.
