Description A solution comprising reacting a reaction mixture containing piperazine, an electrophilic reagent and a suitable metal ion immobilized on a weak acid cation exchange reaction in a glass or PE, PP vessel in the microwave reaction chamber for a period of tens of minutes using a pulse mode 10 W. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture is worked up by the usual manner.
