| Description | The aim of the article is to introduce innovative teaching materials of Latin and Greek medical terminology (for students of Bachelor programmes at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University). The concept of the teaching materials is slightly different from the traditional model as far as the excerption and organization of the grammatical and lexical phenomena are concerned. The authors* focus on frequent and specific collocation terms and on the statistical analysis of the corpus of authentic clinical diagnoses provided by teaching hospitals in Prague and Brno. The teaching materials have been created within interdisciplinary cooperation with medical experts (anatomy, clinical medicine). |
