Description | The role of the applicants for the support from EU funds is significant from the point of view that without the properly prepared and well-implemented projects the program would remain only in the theoretical level. The article analyzes the use of the financial resources from the Operational Program Environment with orientation on the applicants. The analysis is aimed at the number of approved projects and the amount of subsidies in relation to the types of the applicant, and in the case of municipalities, their size categories. While the municipalities represent a significant part of the applicants for the financial help from the European Funds, the purpose is to determine whether there is a relationship between the factor of the size of the municipality and the ability to use the public resources from the Operational Program Environment. The article analyzes the data from the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic that were published during the implementation of the Operational Program Environment in the programming period 2007-2013. |
