Description | Czech legislation on information systems in public administration requires that the vast majority of public authorities shall approve information strategies, which shall serve as a basic instrument of their ICT management. This paper summarizes and compares the content of information strategies of Czech statutory cities and regions. Since both of these types of public authorities represent the largest administrative authorities in Czech territorial self-government, one would expect a high quality of information strategies. The analysis of gathered information conceptions revealed challenges that may raise questions about the existing practices across the whole Czech public administration system. |
