Description Skills as important educational objectives play an important role in the educational process. The monograph creates a functional definition and classification of skills in chemistry education and describes in detail the process of skill acquisition. Theoretical findings are explained through specific examples and their implementation in the instruction. On the basis of the findings of our researches, procedures have been designed how to encourage and motivate all students, simultaneously support and develop individual students in accordance with their specific educational needs. This attitude allows us to reveal hidden giftedness and develop exceptional giftedness. A coherent set of appropriate teaching techniques suitable for mainstream student population as well as for gifted students has been created.
