Description The article deals with personality of children with social disadvantage in a preschool education. The emhasis is placed on specifics and stategies of approaches. At the end are presented results of a research carried out during of the research project „Special Needs of Pupils in the Context of the Framework Education Programme for Primary Education.“ The aim of the research project was to analyze the success of graduates of preparatory classes in the system of basic education in the city of Brno, with the emphasis on acquiring knowledge and competences in the frame of basic education.
