Description The chapter presents the findings of a long-term empirical research the aim of which was to evaluate the impact of artistic recitation on the development of language competencies in pupils with special educational needs. The subject of the research was not only the impact of the pupils’ participation in regional and national competitions but also the possible methods of work that could be employed in the environment of an inclusive school. Particular attention was paid to the issue of the teacher supervision of the dyslexic reciter.
