This field prepares economists for the top managerial sphere in tourist trade within regional and national economy. Students acquire broad theoretical knowledge of the basic macroeconomic concept of tourist trade, its geographical and social differentiations, as well as practical skills in the field of tourist trade management and marketing (in the perspective of municipal government as well as corporate perspective). Students also prepare for communication with specialists in other areas so that the decision-making process they will be involved in would be of a complex character. In this respect, they are educated in the issues of solving complicated projects and basic methodological procedures, pointing out spatial aspects of decision-making on various hierarchical levels.
