The Finance and Law field of study broadens students’ knowledge in economics, finance and law. During their studies, students choose from three study blocks (i.e., Finance, Corporate economy, Law) because of maintaining the possibility for them to continue in the respective fields of study in the Master’s consequential form of study. An emphasis is also put on mastering basic problems of the legal system, selected problems from the field of financial and business law, namely in connection with accounting and taxes. The goal of the study for students is to master the issues of corporate finance, accounting, financial markets, and corporate economy, with a special attention paid to the legal regulations of these sectors. Within the frame of optional subjects, students have the option to extend their knowledge in mathematics, statistics, IT, and monetary development.

Job perspectives for graduates of this field:

The graduates of this study program will become experts in the sphere of economics, financial and capital market management and business, banking, insurance system, corporate finance, accounting, and international finance. They will be able to manage problem solving in financial and business law. They will thus acquire the prerequisites for the ability to work in economic, financial and legal departments of corporations and financial institutions, as well as in public administration. Graduates can also continue in their studies in Master’s consequential study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Administration or the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University.
