Only students who successfully fulfill the study requirements of the programme and pass the final state exam are entitled to receive the Master's degree and Diploma of Masaryk University.
Within the Study Requirements students are required to complete 120 ECTS comprised of credits from compulsory courses in required structure, optional courses and credits for Master's thesis. Please note that all of your required course credits and grades must be entered by the teachers into the information system at least 3 days prior to final state exams. Master’s thesis must be registered with a supervisor in the semester prior to the last semester of studies and submitted by the date set in the departmental calendar.
The programme is completed with a final state exam consisting of three parts:
Master's thesis defence
exam from Economics (Microeconomics and Macroeconomics) and
exam from a „study field subject“ compiling the content of compulsory courses
Students who have successfully passed the final exam are entitled to receive the Master's degree and Diploma of Masaryk University. Diplomas are delivered over at a graduation ceremony, to which you can invite your family and friends.
